Baking

You will find some lovely Cakes and Bakes on these pages, just click on the type of cake you want to bake, in the drop down menu. Have a look through the different types and I am sure you will find something you like. The recipes are simple to follow and as long as you have a good oven, baking cakes is pretty simple. Perfecting decorating may take a little longer, but practice makes perfect.

To make good cakes, you need to ensure you put air into the mix when making. So ensure you always sift your flour and put some height into the mix, when blending the mixture together. Ensure the oven is always pre-heated before using. I tend to use Lactose Free margarine or Milk and some of the recipes are Gluten Free.
